She has also completed her certification program in Educational Leadership and is in the Assistant's Principal pool in Pasco.

Roxana began her dance career at age three with Jackie's Dance Studio, where she studied all disciplines. In high school, Roxana was Co-Captain and Captain of cheerleading at Tampa Catholic High School, and provided much of the squad's choreography. She was also assistant coach for Tampa Catholic's JV squad after high school. In college, Roxana was a member of the Gainesville Growlers cheer/dance team, and traveled around Florida providing dance/cheer choreograph for several All Star cheer teams. In 1998 Roxana joined the teaching staff of Jackie's Dance Studio. She has since been immersed in the dance world. She has instructed and choreographed in several disciplines, including Hip-Hop, Cheer/Tumble, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, and Technique. She has choreographed and judged locally for several teams and events such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's Cheerleaders, Hillsborough High School, Gaither High School, St. Joseph's Catholic School, the Gasparilla Parade, the Guavaween Festival, etc. She has also provided direction and music for several organizations in the Tampa Bay area. Additionally, she directed the Jackie's Competition Team for several years and received numerous high awards and special awards such as "Most Energetic", "Most Entertaining", and "Best Choreography". Roxana has studied under dance legends and taken classes from choreographers such as Luigi, Jackie Loto, Savion Glover, Wade Robson, Laurieann Gibson, Geo Hubela, Marty Dew, Dave Scott, Mia Michaels, and Darrin Henson. She has also studied at Broadway Dance Center, Luigi's Jazz Centre and the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. In order to further her training and knowledge in the area of dance, she takes classes and participates in workshops throughout the year.

After teaching for thirteen years, Roxana is now a Co-Owner of Xtreme Dance Company of Tampa. She continues to instruct classes and co-direct the competition team, Xtreme Team, for the studio. She oversees the Xtreme Kids performance team, and is the dance director for the studio. Excited does not describe the feeling she has about being a studio owner. Roxana owes all of her knowledge of the dance world and the inspiration to take her dance career to another level to the late Jackie Loto.

In addition to her careers, Roxana is a mother to her six year old daughter Mia Horn, who attends Villa Madonna School and dances and performs on Xtreme Kids at the studio. Roxana's love for children and teens is evident in her work and her mothering. She feels that the mottos that guides her daily at work and at home is: "Do whatever is in the best interest of the kids." Roxana continues her volunteer work in the community and with the Anytown program.

"The art of dance cannot be put in a box and I can't wait to empower teachers and students to express themselves without limits."
